This week at Crossroads (my favorite locations are Echo Park Ave and Hyperion) I found a vintage Jams World 3 piece set. One piece was missing and I was devastated. Did I recruit all the shop girls to help me dig? Yes. Did we find it? No. Did I then make a lifelong friend named Christian who is the re-stocker and promised he would dig for it and call me if he found it? Yes. Stay tuned for an update.
I also found this radical 1980’s Adrienne Vittadini set but it was slightly too small so I had to skip.
Needless to say I am super into matching sets these days and would never dream of splitting one up. Here are some special ones. BONUS KIDS!
On set last week someone had this shirt from Lou Equipment (a small LA brand I had never heard of). I will be purchasing the Ikea blue long sleeve. I am such a sucker for contrast stitching and always on the hunt for the perfect tee. On sale at Madewell. Speaking of sales, all the kids need these Baggu collab socks for 8 dollars. Ugh, I just love Baggu so much. These pop up tents!
Loving this mesh ballet trend (did MNZ start it a few years ago, then Khaite and the Row and now its mass market?). J.Crew has some good knock-offs, so does Zara. It all smell’s very late 80’s / early 90’s to me.
Anyone have a question??? Come on guys!
Have you heard from Christian yet?
Speaking of Crossroads, what are your favorite vintage stores in LA?
